Founder of Inbox Zero VA • CEO Coach • Speaker • Host • Multi-Clinic Healthcare Entrepreneur

I didn’t start my business to drown in burnout—I started it to transform lives.

As a physical therapist, I opened my first clinic with nothing but passion and a mission to serve my community. But within a year, that mission began to unravel. I was waking up at 4 a.m., missing family dinners, and constantly chasing fires. The anxiety, the fatigue, the disconnection—it nearly cost me my marriage, my health, and my dream. I thought about shutting it all down.

But instead, I decided to build something better.

That decision changed everything—and it started with hiring my first virtual assistant.

I didn’t know how to manage remote teams. I wasn’t sure if it would work. But I was desperate for leverage—and within 30 days, I started to feel the shift. I delegated low-value tasks. I bought back my time. I stopped being the bottleneck and started building real departments—operations, marketing, recruiting—all powered by skilled virtual talent.

The result?

I stepped into my true CEO role, scaled to multiple clinic locations, and launched three thriving companies—including Inbox Zero VA, where we now train and place world-class Filipino virtual assistants to help healthcare entrepreneurs do less and achieve more.

Today, I coach private practice owners across the country, host a top-tier industry podcast, and speak on stages to teach others how to reclaim their time, grow their companies, and live the life they imagined when they started this journey.

Inbox Zero VA isn’t just a company—it’s the movement I wish I had when I was burning out. We exist to help leaders like you reclaim their freedom, scale with confidence, and finally get back to doing what matters most—leading with purpose.

If you feel like you’re stuck in the weeds, buried in tasks, or trapped in your own success—I’ve been there. And with the right help, I found my way out.

Now it’s your turn.

Spencer Shoemaker

Founder of Inbox Zero VA | Healthcare Visionary | Systems Architect for Scaling Private Practices | Multi-Clinic Healthcare Entrepreneur

I started my career the way many do in healthcare—head down, hustling, and convinced the only way up was to see more patients than anyone else. I was a staff therapist obsessed with doing it all and doing it well. And I did. But in the quiet moments between sessions, I found myself pulled toward something else—solving problems behind the scenes, helping our clinic director with tasks most people overlooked. I loved the puzzle. The systems. The strategy.

I thought I had "made it" when I became a director at a private practice. Patients wanted to see me, and I wore that like a badge of honor—until I realized I was building a bottleneck around myself. I had unknowingly scripted every interaction to point back to me. It wasn't leadership—it was ego. So I rewrote the script.

I started promoting my team instead of myself. I learned that my greatest impact wouldn’t come from being requested—it would come from making sure no one needed to request me. I became obsessed with developing people, not just treating patients. And that’s when everything changed.

That shift in mindset led me from staff therapist to clinic director… to practice owner… and ultimately to visionary and system builder for a company that was in full growth mode. As we expanded, more responsibilities landed on my plate—not because I asked for them, but because I had a God-given ability to slow down problems, simplify chaos, and see the solution clearly. And while that gift helped us grow, it also became a trap. My plate was overflowing, and I was the bottleneck all over again.

That’s when I turned to help—not just any help, but virtual help. At first, I thought no one could do it like me. But then I remembered: I used to think that about my in-house team too, until I learned how to empower them. So I applied the same logic. I started hiring virtual assistants, one by one, giving them vision, systems, and clear expectations. And they didn’t just lighten the load—they brought it to life.

With VAs handling monotonous, time-draining tasks like verifications, authorizations, scheduling, and follow-up, my team could finally focus on what matters most—the patient experience. Our efficiency soared. Our culture improved. And I got my time back to lead and grow the business.

That’s when I knew this wasn’t just a “me” solution—it was a solution for every private practice owner stuck in the weeds. So I partnered with my good friend Adam, and together we launched Inbox Zero VA—a company built to help healthcare business owners scale sustainably by offloading the tasks that steal their time and energy.

Inbox Zero VA trains elite virtual assistants who don’t just get the job done—they become a strategic part of your operations. We take on the workload so you can lead with vision, not exhaustion.

Inbox Zero VA isn’t just a business. It’s a blueprint for freedom—freedom to grow, to lead, and to build something bigger than yourself.

What are you waiting for?

Ben Jaeger Flores

Client Partnership Manager, Inbox Zero

Former Virtual Assistant | System Thinker | Advocate for Time Freedom

Like many at Inbox Zero, I began my career as a Virtual Assistant—on the frontlines of practice management, learning how to make a meaningful impact where it mattered most.

Along the way, I had the privilege of working with clients who weren’t just looking for help—they were looking for clarity. Many were unsure of what was slowing them down, or which parts of their practice needed attention. That’s where I found my calling. I loved listening, identifying the bottlenecks in their workflows, and helping them reconnect with the heart of their business by untangling the chaos behind the scenes.

To me, being a VA wasn’t just about managing tasks—it was about giving clients something far more valuable: their time. My goal was always to make sure that when they stepped away from work, they could do so with peace of mind, knowing everything was in capable, caring hands.

Now, I’ve stepped into a leadership role as Inbox Zero’s Client Partnership Manager. My mission is simple but powerful: to find Virtual Assistants who share my compassion, strategic mindset, and commitment to service—and to pair them with practice owners who are ready to level up.

I believe real partnership begins with understanding. If you’re ready to find a VA who doesn’t just complete tasks—but truly gets your business and is ready to grow with it—I’m here to help make that connection.

Dale Flores

Co-Founder & Human Resource Manager, Inbox Zero

Former Virtual Assistant | Advocate for Impact-Driven Medical Support Teams

Before Inbox Zero was a thriving solution for medical professionals, I was on the other side of the screen—serving as a Virtual Assistant, learning firsthand how meaningful the role could be. What started as a job quickly became my calling. Being a VA gave me more than a paycheck—it gave me purpose, a career I could be proud of, and a way to uplift my family while making a real difference in my clients’ lives.

I discovered early on that being a great VA isn’t just about checking tasks off a list. It’s about transforming someone’s day-to-day, helping them breathe easier, and building medical offices that run smoothly, serve patients better, and grow with intention. I became obsessed with systems, workflows, and patient-friendly solutions—and with showing my clients that yes, the right support can absolutely change the game.

Today, as Co-Founder and HR Manager of Inbox Zero, my mission has grown: I now dedicate myself to finding VAs who share my passion, my integrity, and my drive—and matching them with visionary practice owners who are ready to elevate their operations and reclaim their time.

Inbox Zero isn’t just about inboxes or admin support. It’s about creating partnerships that matter. It’s about empowering both the VA and the practice owner to grow, thrive, and succeed—together.

If you're ready to transform your practice—or your career—through the power of virtual assistance, I'm here to help make that connection.
